Direct SMS is included with the Plus Service.
With many cellular service providers discontinuing their Email To SMS services, people who prefer text notifications over push notifications from the App are being left without a solution.
The optional Direct SMS service provides a texting solution for Alerts that doesn't rely on your cellular carrier's gateway.
Note: This service is intended for low-volume alerts such as Alarms. It is capped at 100 alerts on a calendar month basis.
In addition to the regular DSMS text you now have the option to also receive a Voice Call from your system in the event of an alarm.
Note: This only applies to Alarms, not other alerts. Each voice call also counts towards your DSMS monthly limit.
The calls will always come from +1(762)675-1700. We recommend you save this in your contacts and turn on the emergency bypass or priority setting for that contact.
